Today is the Pride Parade in Toronto, ON. I found this very appropriate to listen to 100 times over today. Every word I've ever heard this woman say is like bullets to my ears. She's beyond amazing.

This is absolutely amazing. Being someone who works in an elementary school, and for before and after school programs, this has happened several times. It is amazing how little it effects kids. They ask you once why you have short hair and an answer like "because I like it that way" is good enough for them. Working for the same school district who let me down when I was harassed for being gay, I feel I'm making a difference just by being myself with the kids and my co-workers.
