BOOTLEG LIVE at Big Bull, Ommen 1992

HERE IS A GLIMPSE OF THE PAST: BOOTLEG doing the REM-song 'Don't go back to Rockville' and John Fogerty's 'Looking out my backdoor' (OUR VERSION BACK THEN!! YEAH!! Tracks 18+19 of the 39-SONGS-GIG at The Big Bull then! We visited the Big Bull at least a dozen times since then and even before this one we ripped up the joint!
No coincidence that we did our very first BOOTLEG-LIVE-GIG there as well a few years before in early 1990.

From a concert back in 1992 at The Big Bull, Ommen, The Netherlands in the Early Days of BOOTLEG. The band started in the summer of 1989 and celebrated its 20th Anniversary in 2009. Still rocking in 2010...in another line-up (see www.myspace.com/bootlegouterspacerock and www.robdokter.com)

Entire concert was captured on video back then by my former collegue Andrees Maaskant.

The tape is still conserved well through the years! Wow! It blew me away seeing us do all those old songs we did back then in our younger days, like: Lonnie Mack's 'Satisfy Suzie' , The Stones-song 'Sweet Virginia', Clapton's 'Lay down Sally', Kravitz 'Mr.Cabdriver', Lou Reed's 'Strawman', James Mc Murtry's 'Outskirts' own-penned originals like 'Walking down Lincoln Street' and 'Blowing my goodbye horn' and our Bootleg-slowblues: 'Streets of this Town (seen all the sights)'... and many many more of course, since we did a 39-songs-set there!!

By the way 'Rockville' was a first-time-LIVE-one here!
