Curtiss A of Mpls, Mn headlines the 27th John Lennon Tribute performed at First Avenue in Mpls. Curt has performed the Lennon Tribute since the night of John's untimely death.
Curtiss plays fast and loose these days with his vocals (as I bet John would have, too, after so many years) - but what's truly remarkable about these shows is the guitar & drum work - they recreate LIVE some of the most innovative and trippy stuff the Beatles did in the studio - watching Come Together (in your ears and in the flesh) at these shows is pretty much an out of body experience.

Curt and friends - thanks for all of the great memories of this annual Lennon tribute over the years.
THE '06 VOCALS/HARMONIES WERE THE BEST YET. TRULY AWESOME.
I will keep coming, as long as these shows may continue. I have seen about 24 of the 27 (can't come when I have the flu).
