New active active region 11389 rotated into view off the south eastern limb on Wednesday. This region is crackling with C-Class flares, the largest being a C7.2 today.

Strong CME impact was detected by the ACE Spacecraft Thursday morning. A possible geomagnetic storm may be in progress.

The auroral ovals show strong agitation from impacts of Coronal Mass Ejection's (CMEs) the last 6 hours, those at high latitudes should be on alert for auroras.

  • @dirtyyyminds i will download it today, thank you

  • @SolarWatcher - try it with camtasia studio 7 or video pad - there you can put pics in videos and you can change the diameter of your pics with zoom ;-))

  • @boazzaob You do have a great point though I have been observing for 8 years now and there have been many times where there were over a thousand earthquakes on the map. Today there are 158 quakes on the map that's really nothing in comparison and it has been like this for the last few weeks, maybe it's the calm before the storm. I am keeping my eye on Australia it will probably get a really big one soon much like what happened in Japan prior to it's huge quake lots of 5.5 magnitudes and then bam

  • @boazzaob Well certain areas have less activity while others are becoming more active such as Russia and Peru.

  • @SolarWatcher what day bro?

  • I really like your news.

  • Great video as usual! These next few days will be busy!

  • Anyone noticed the sharp decline in earthquake activity?

  • @SolarWatcher thank you for trying...I am learning soooo very much!! Best wishes!
