Depois vieram outros êxitos, como "The more I see you", "Call me", "The shadow of your smile", "Hey baby", "The very thought of you", "Time after time", "Sunny", "Loco por ti" e outras.

The more I see you".

Confirma a letra:

Sunny, yesterday my life was filled with rain.
Sunny, you smiled at me and really eased the pain.
The dark days are gone, and the bright days are here,
My sunny one shines so sincere.
Sunny one so true, i love you.

Sunny, thank you for the sunshine bouquet.
Sunny, thank you for the love you brought my way.
You gave to me your all and all.
Now i feel ten feet tall.
Sunny one so true, i love you.

Sunny, thank you for the smile upon your face.
Sunny, thank you for the gleam that shows its grace.
Youre my spark of natures fire,
Youre my sweet complete desire.
Sunny one so true, i love you.

Sunny, yesterday my life was filled with rain.
Sunny, you smiled at me and really really eased the pain.
The dark days are gone, and the bright days are here,
My sunny one shines so sincere.
Sunny one so true, i love you.

I love you.
I love you.

What happened to Chris Montez? Sunny and The More I See You are 2 of my favourite songs I remember as a wee nipper.

  • (continued from previous comment) ... in r&b and the only proof we have of this is his unreleased 1963 recording of "Down In The Valley", a classic Solomon Burke penned song, and he does it with such raw, tremdous excitement that its hard to stop yourself from flinging your undies across the room and jumping!...

LOVE you Chris.., and this whole thing is directed at the person who said Chris is a boring singer, he was just mislead - or more so, persuaded to suit others needs.

  • No disrespect to Mr Montez is intended by my previous comment. I loved his music more than 40 years ago. I still love Chris Montez' music today!

  • Still great after all this time! Not sure, but I think this was from about '66 or '67. Bobby Hebb's version was fabulous. I think Mr Hebb's version was first. My older brother's Army enlistment was up in March, 1966. He bought a new '66 Chevelle SS 396. Bobby Hebb's version was playing when he picked up his car at the Chevy dealership. Great days & great tunes!

  • adoro !!

  • Was this before Bobby Hebb?

  • cool
