I remember the first time I saw a tape loaded computer in Dixons, way back around 1979/1980. It really confused me why the game carried on playing after the tape had stopped.
Tape loading games wouldn't be the same without the 'sound', it's part of the whole experience. I had no idea what it was when I was a nipper, I thought that it was some new 'Avante Garde' form of music coming from my CPC464.
The CPC version of Harrier Attack is a cherished memory from my childhood.
Frank Bruno Boxing, suspiciously reminiscent of Punch Out.
