I don't suppose you could come back and do a tech character could you?

You tell 'em. Insult the insulter, I like it.

Hey vega you still doing lps cause there a game i think you would enjoy its Champions of norarth (not sure if spelled right)Theres two of them I've played both but i think the first ones the best. Try it out and tell what you think.

Playing as an elf? Disgusting. No significant background? Horrifying. Not playing a tech character? UNFORGIVABLE.

Why did you stop let's playing? Loved your Arcanum playthrough. It was my first RPG and right up there with Skyrim and Baldur's Gate in epicness.

Wow, I remember when my father got this game for me, I remember playing until I reached the big town, he always used to get me these games that now as I grew up are the games I seem interested in. I still have both disks and the books that came with the box. Truly a great game, they don't make them like this anymore. My sympathies for Troika Games closing down, they truly made great games compared to the trash of today. Great play-through, you should do a Baldur's Gate one. Then Icewind-Dale.

@FlorinU I apologize for the mistake. If that is what you meant, then you are most certainly correct. I just wish that Bethesda payed more attention to the customer responsiveness component of their business model. It oftentimes takes them years and an overwhelming majority of complaints before they'll change their opinion on how a game should be designed. For example, the skill system was broken during the Morrowind era and many complained, but it continued in Oblivion and is finally now fixed.

@jdmazzify No, I did not reply to the wrong person :) It was actually a reply to L0rdVega regarding the ability to actually see items on your character when equipped. Nevermind, anyway, I loved and still love all these games, it's just that some things could have been done better for even more enjoyment. "Lazy" should be read with the respective quotation marks, I do not believe that a lazy bunch could create such huge games, it's just that some aspects seem rushed and unfinished.
Vega, this game is the absolute the best. i loved it,still love it.play it. is there anyway to play online still?cuz if so,lets do that shit.i never could beat the little other world, what was it,vormanland or some shit?the other playing thing.

@hechohawk Vormantown I think. I don't think playing online is even possible anymore, even years ago when I got it it didn't work, and honestly I'm not sure if it ever worked to begin with. Vormantown can be beaten alone though, it's just much harder than the normal game. It's fun though and it has a custom ending and the story is great. It's worth it. Give it a shot.

What I love about these old games, such as Fallout and Arcanum, is that objects in your inventory are so nicely drawn that you can spend some time examining them and imagining the real thing, while the new lazy boys that designed Fallout 3 and New Vegas just chose an ugly, irrelevant outline of the objects in your inventory that's so boring. They failed to see these little details are so important.

@FlorinU I think the difference there is that, in exchange for lazy item inventory details, you're given the ability to actually SEE them on your character. You don't need to imagine the real thing when you can actually see it.
