  • @RamiroR It says, "In the future" it'll be possible for one person to make something like Shrek. I'm inclined to think that'll be true in a few years. Flatland is feature-length and was animated entirely by one person on a home computer. Just a couple of decades ago that would've been impractical. Three decades ago Jurassic Park was impossible. Computers and software are getting more capable all the time.

  • LMAO!!!! i just notice the teapot in 3dsmax, that's why it's the basic object in any 3D animation software :D

  • O.o they had touchscreen in the 50-60s? i thought it was made in the 80s.

  • I feel inadequate.

  • Hey man, thanks for uploading the video. Do you know when this documentary came out? (It's kind of important that I know this - [project]).

  • the sync is a bit off...

  • YES, one animator can be responsible for an entire film. In the early days of TRON, Edwin Catmull worked mostly independently. He was the leading man in CGI at Lucasfilm and PIXAR after he had created the CGI Paint System at New York Institute of Technology. It was at NYIT that the CGI in TRON was conceptualized. I studied CGI at NYIT in 1991 using those very same systems. Unlike cell animation, the software can do much of the work.

  • Cant find part 2 for this only part 2 for every other video in the world

  • What i dont like at todays CG-Movies or Graphics afterall, is this restlessness and over-perfect scenery. Everything has to make an reaction on action Stunning images, but no time for the viewer to recognize and capturing the scene. This is one of the reasons why i like the old TRON more than the actual one, cause the old one gives an unreal impression - as it should be.

  • Thank you for sharing this, It is very informative and interesting. I enjoyed watching it.
