  • LeBron what an assist!

  • The Cavs at number 1 was awesome! lol Damn..

  • Looks like JJ will be starting some games. May be in hopes that he can develop into what we hope he can be or to showcase him for a trade (I read Ferry had a lot to do with this move).

Anyway, I'm gonna pray with every Cav's fan that JJ becomes a proven starter this year. I'm just not optimistic. I hope he proves me wrong.

  • #1 was just about the lamest dunk in NBA history

  • JJ just isn't starter material yet, and Shaq will never come off the bench, so the only option is starting AV unless we make a trade.

  • the way i see it, Andy should come off the bench with Z because they have a better chemistry with one another as they started in those games through last season, when big ben was injured or not playing. On the other hand those two could start and put Shaq on the bench but i dont see that happening. One of the main reasons JJ should start.

  • My point is that while a player can be exciting, that doesn't make them ALL around better.

JJ has potential to be a great offensive player, but has yet to prove he can work consistently in the Cavs offense. AV has shown that he works well on the PnR and is improving otherwise.

AV is also a huge part of our defensive system, while JJ is still young and learning. The kid hasn't even learned to box out yet.

BTW, this turned out to be a much more interesting convo than I anticipated.

  • i disagree 100% with the Allen Iverson statement.. He was fun to watch when he was playing with Philly, but when he made comments about how practice went and all about his playing time and that shit, that makes it not fun to watch him play because of that. . . I think Allen Iverson is fun to watch, but when he makes comments like that, its not fun to watch him play. I feel the same way about JJ and the way he plays except he didn't make any comments.

  • Andy had a nice offensive night, and I already said he isn't great in the post, he's good for our team defense.

BTW, Allen Iverson is really fun to watch but was nothing but a cancer to the Pistons. JJ can have some highlight plays but he isn't a consistent NBA player yet so no way can he start.
