@silvermediastudio I tried 3M spray adhesive for a small roof section to test it. It worked fine at first best my guess is the extreme heat that the surface of the roof faces caused it to fail. I would also guess that liquid nails would act the same.

Spray adhesive (like 3M Super 77) or construction adhesive (Liquid Nails) does wonders on smooth or irregular surfaces, respectively.
