I might be alone in this, but I think the way AH played it, Faison was genuinely fond of Robin, in a paternal sort of way.

Yes, Anders did convey that quality. For me, however, his ability to infuse any kinder, gentler aspects of the character with a sinister tinge inevitably made such moments eerie.

If these present day GH writers used or knew the characters history they would use a PK Sinclair/Faison reference with Robin. Especially with her, I hope, upcoming wedding. When he made that comment about her being a "beautiful bride" i thought about it. I could see Faison sitting in some dim opulent room looking at pictures of Robin's wedding or even live video. Maybe Robin/Patrick would get some gift from a mysterious sender. It would be creepy of course but cool.

They meant "sheik" -- R/S/A were trying to track down a sheik who was an old enemy of Faison's so he would do their dirty work for them and get rid of Faison at the wedding.
