  • GREATE AZERBAIJAN MUSIC!!!

LONG LIVE MY CULTUREL AND ANCIENT AZERBAIJAN!!!

    I LOVE AZERBAIJAN!!!

  • @musafis The song is also known as Sari Aghjik which literally means "Girl of the Mountain" or Vard Siretsi which means "I loved a rose [as in a girl like a rose] in Armenian."

The song originated in Erzurum Turkey. It is about a Turkish muslim boy who falls in love with a Christian Armenian girl. Similar to Romeo and Juliet story.

  • Wow, had no idea Herbie Hancock re-did this song. It's nice to see other American artists truly listening to music around the world.
