@musafis The song is also known as Sari Aghjik which literally means "Girl of the Mountain" or Vard Siretsi which means "I loved a rose [as in a girl like a rose] in Armenian."
The song originated in Erzurum Turkey. It is about a Turkish muslim boy who falls in love with a Christian Armenian girl. Similar to Romeo and Juliet story.
