Here's the 2006 Epiphone Les Paul Ultra I just demo'd through a Vox Tonelab SE. My apologies here as there is serious distortion when I switch to some of the high gain settings...the volume went way up and the little mic on the camera just couldn't take it. I don't really do much more than show that the unit works as there is so much that it can do and it would take multiple parts and time I don't have right now to really do justice to the unit. I'm selling these for a friend and time is a factor, so forgive the quality of this one. I'll be putting both the guitar and the pedalboard up on eBay in a no games, no hidden reserve auction. Also...Guitars Wanted as I'm always looking for more guitars...I buy/sell/trade 'em. I'm plugged straight into my same old rig (no effects at all)...Fender Super Sonic combo with an Avatar 2x12 all loaded with 12" Hellatone 30's. Any questions, just ask...

Here is a link to my current eBay auctions if you are interested...

If you like what you hear, or are interested in any of my current or future used guitar offerings, subscribe...you'll get a heads up on any guitar that I'll be listing for sale on eBay as I post a video here first.

Thanks for watching!

  • Dude...try and run it through the loop effects in the back...The tone is hideous.

  • @2817well I'm sure it can be made to sound better...I didn't really even try to scratch the surface of what this thing could do...I simply showed that it was working so whoever bought it KNEW before they bought it...clever, right? I had no idea 100,000 people would watch this one...lol...I don't even use effects myself. If I was concerned with getting real "tone" on here, I would put a mic in front of my speaker (and buy a camera that I could use my own mic with). Thanks for watching anyways...

  • Can never have too much gear right ? I gotta say that guitar is a beauty. I've been checking out the tonelab Le but had my heart set on a zoom g3, ever tested one of those?

  • @legniak1 I don't think I've ever tried a G3...but I was never impressed with Zoom stuff...lots of bells and whistles but none of it ever really impressed me as being any kind of quality...especially signal to noise ratio...and yes...it's hard to control the gas (gear acquisition syndrome)!

  • Man,you must be loaded, lol, all that sweet gear in the background

  • @legniak1 I'm not...but you should see it now (check out some more recent vids and I'll do one next week that will show the new layout...way more stuff...lol!

  • @meccaollielorde Either there is something wrong with your unit (and I suppose that's possible) but more likely, you just need to learn how to use it better. Don't use their presets...get in there and figure out what you want. Learn how to remove the delay. Read your manual. Start with a basic amp sound then add effects. One of the things I liked about it was that you could strip away all of the effects and get some of the best amp models going (shy of actually buying each tube amp they copy).

  • @Jeepjones85 Please send my commission check to...lol...oh well...thanks for watching!

  • I meant tonelab se, there is a used one on my local C.L

  • @DIGITALH1TMAN I can't tell you anything about the EX...I don't remember the differences...but look for a good used one and buy the better unit if possible...it did a lot more and was more controllable with your feet...I didn't even use that much of it but that was important to me. You could choose several different things at once and still control every parameter.

  • @greengtrs thanks man, I'm thinking of getting one (an EX though) can you engage more than one effect at a time?

  • @DIGITALH1TMAN I'm more of a plug straight into my amp and go kind of player, but if I had to use some effects for a particular gig/band/song...this has been my choice. It sounds more natural to me than most others do and they copy some of the coolest vintage effects out there so for what it would cost you for a good flanger, delay, and overdrive pedal (like what they are copying), you can get this and it does so much more (but not everything...no looping) and it has some great amp sounds too...
