Just think that anyone could get infected, it could any member of our family, any friend ours, any loving person or even us.. Dont be afraid of meeting someone who is HIV +, just be informed. Dont be afraid of kissing one, just be informed. Dont be afraid of loving one JUST BE INFORMED!
guess I have to: my advise was simply stupid - period. Sorry. I do respect you, your difficult situation and your actual decision. I hope you find a regime that combines an acceptable life-quality with a sufficient viral supression! Be strong.
You have already infected me with your lack of respect by advising me of not infecting others and to use condoms, like if I were a criminal. Please refrain yourself from sending me anymore comments. Thank You.
Sorry, Naggual. I posted my comment one yours before I had watched your video on Youtube. Therfore I tried to be reasonable. Now thatI have watched it I am sorry for that: it is a dangerous mixture of lamentable facts, stupidities and errors. I accept your personal will to die of AIDS instead of taking medication. But please do not infect others with your virus and with this horrible mixture of stupidities!
there are people, who are infected and most of them would die if there was no treatment or they were more likely to infect others, since there is a correlation between viral load and viruses in the sperm for e.g. . Yes, these drugs can cause very unpleasant side-effects and right, you can eventually die due to these side-effects (e.g. by effects on the coronary vessels). It might sound strange to you, but this is an improvement.
I am the one, who made the script and storyboard for the video. Believe me, I am not naïve: HIV, being a chronic disease, is an enormous market for the Pharmaceutical Industry and they surely invest more money to promote their products than to promote condoms or basic knowledge on safer sex. But the reality is:
Yes, these drugs can cause very unpleasant side-effects and right, you can eventually die due to these side-effects (e.g. by effects on the coronary vessels). It might sound strange to you, but this is an improvement. The drugs available 15 years ago gave so few therapeutic options, that most HIV-pos would develop AIDS too soon to experience long-term side-effects of the drugs.
The focus has shifted: new antiretroviral drugs help to prolong the life of HIV-pos in a way that they now live long enough to experience also the long-term side-effects (plus the immediate ones they might endure anyway). That is not great, but much better. Please respect HIV: it is not a sweet infection cure with some sugar pills, at least at present. And also respect the work of the Pharmaceutical Industry, whatever motivation you think it might have: we need these drugs.

I will try to percieve your video differently:
1. Having HIV is a real pain in the ass
2. There is no easy treatment
3. The infection changes your life
dramatically.
4. keep researching for better drugs
5. Better do not get HIV at all
good luck, leo

Dear activista,
