I thought this song had a slight Mamas and the Papas-ish type of sound until I dug a little deeper and found out why it was so. Apparently, it was co-produced by P.F. Sloan (along with Steve Barri). Sloan (who wrote "Eve Of Destruction" that became a monster hit for Barry McGuire in 1965) worked very closely with Lou Adler, founder of Dunhill records and also The Mamas and the Papas' producer. P.F. Sloan and Steve Barri wrote and produced Terry's "Unless You Care" as well.

This guy was so good! Always thought he was British after hearing "Unless You Care"... really Beatle-ish.
Would love to pick up the LP that you show in this slide show! I have "Only 16" and the "Black Plague" Cd's, but they obviously don't have all his stuff.

@westmain69 , Hey, yes he's Great. The picture of Terry Black is actually a 45 picture cover, it would be hard to find, you might find it somewhere online. Thank you for visiting my page.
