Super Greed | Premiere, pt. 1

The first episode of the upgrade of Greed: The Series, Super Greed. What makes it "Super" is that the top 3 tiers of the Tower of Greed, their values are doubled. $500,000 is now $1,000,000, $1,000,000 is now $2,000,000, and $2,000,000 is now a WHOPPING $4,000,000! However, the Qualifying question was removed, for what reason I don't know. Here are the players in this game:

KATHI: A full-time mom from Santa Clara, CA who loves boot camp
BRIAN: A physical therapist from Roundsville, TX whose hands are his fortune
JON: A teacher from Dallas, TX, whose students gave him a sweet sendoff
DENNIS: A software engineer from Dallas, TX who is good at keeping secrets
RACHEL: A jewelry sales lady from Downey, CA who's mad about karaoke. She is the designated captain

I wish Fox had not cancelled Greed so abruptly back in 2000. The show was still hot at the time, we may have gotten a syndicated 5 a week daytime version eventually had it not been for the cancellation.

Man I loved this show. It was so creative with the terminator round, the team captain, etc. Bring it back!!!

@JeopardyandWheelFan Maybe. Or they could do like Millionaire did and leave the prize ladder the same. Imagine stations airing a syndicated half hour Greed back to back with Millionaire or even a syndicated half hour version of Million Dollar Password.

@Loopsifly I didn't mind that. It put the pressure on the contestants to get as close as possible to the right answer. Also, several of the eliminated contestants made it on to future teams and won some money.

@robg5555 I agree, but I also think they shouldn't have eliminated someone, because it's like "Hey, you can win lots of money here and you're on!" and then they get booted off.

The reason those with the sickness of Greed wont share, is because they have a spiritual disease, called.... Greed.

This is puzzling to many people, but the fact is they run the world because of the fact that they have this disease, people without it have no kind of desire to control everything and monopolize it all for themselves...

Jesus Christ came to serve, not be served... Came to live for his fathers wants, not his own...

This is the only way...

Any other way... is the path to dis-ease
