the "basis of intelligence" is debated on context. Logic is based on deductive reasoning. So you're wrong about defining intelligence as logic. As for God and the Bible, it is critical to read it in context just the same. As with anything, if you pull isolated sayings out of context, you may change the meaning entirely. 'If you believe in god, you have no logic'...that's illogical..so by your reasoning, your logic is messed up, so that means you're not intelligent, so get off the internet.

@spiralslarips the bible in context is one of the most despicable, immoral, filthy books and has not place in a modern society. The deity in the bible is illogical and self-contradictory. Sorry but believing in the bible and in the christian god is illogical and disgusting.

@Freethinker12341 All the free thinkers in the world cant wish it away. The bible is nothing but a series of ancient stories, like the Greek myths. It is impossible to comprehend the world outside of the stories human beings tell. New stories can't help but allude to old stories. If you love Dylan's work, or Marx's work, or Hegel's work, or Shelley's work, or Rouseau's work, or Shakespeare's work, I don't think there is really anyway to escape it. Sorry.
