I do not own this or intend to profit from this! This is a video created and owned by the Nostalgia Critic, who uses clips own by Disney. Sorry for the delay, Doug 's computer got a virus, so the last portion was pushbacked by a week until he could get things fixed.

I'm simply posting this for all fans of disney, as the Nostalgia Critic celebrates December by reviewing all of Disney's animated films. This review covers the 51st animated feature from 2011, Winnie the Pooh.

Enjoy!

  • "... Everyone else has the dot eyes..."

Really? Rabbit, Owl, Gopher (Even though he's not in this)?

They were just trying to establish that Christopher Robin is a human as everyone else is a stuffed animal.

  • @96gamerdude True, but the point of that was Gopher was Disney's contribution to Winnie the Pooh. After the first movie, he's been in all the tv shows, the merchandise and ever other movie, and now they cut him out. That's just cold as ice. Gopher was one of my favorite characters so now that I know he isn't in it, I don't know if I can't find it within myself to watch this movie.

  • I sure hope they do another traditionally animated film after Wreck-it-Ralph. This movie made only 33 million dollars in worldwide grosses and was just barely able to re-coup it's budget. I will be so mad if I never see another hand-drawn film. The reason Winnie the Pooh didn't do so well, Disney decided to release it the same weekend as Deathly Hollows Part 2. Which is a death sentence to any movie released the same day. But I do have to admit it was a pretty ballsy move.

  • @loadedjogger I know, when i went to see it in the theater I was spending most of my time loving the nostalgia that was being injected in my mind that it wasn't until my mother and I were in the car and I just noticed taht Gopher wasn't in the movie. But it's like he said in the first Pooh film. "I'm not in the book!"

  • I would've guessed he would do a Tom kenny joke, like,

    Piglet: I can not knot.

Rabbit: DOES ANYBODY KNOW HOW TO TIE A KNOT?!!!

  • I watched this movie and i was stunned on how short it was. And I checked the time on my dvd player and it said 56 minutes. The other Pooh movies were like 75 minutes at least. And I agree with Doug, why only two stories? Even in the special features, the writers and director were talking about how little time they had left. And I was like, "Really? Why not one more story or two?" But it was pretty good either way and I liked it.

  • What. I have not seen this movie. But this review makes me want to. (I love the other one..)

  • @LionKingRulezLives I'm with you on that, man. I never saw the movie, but i can imagine how surprised I'd be if i heard Eeyore say that line.

  • @loadedjogger That was the first thing I said to myself when I was half way through it. When I saw this movie, when Eeyore said "We're all gunna die." Almost every mother gasped, infact so did I, Eeyore maybe depressing, but who thought he was that depressed inside.

  • @katethegreat91 I was just thinking he should do a Mayazaki month too<3 lol
