i love the rough sound the man's voice makes. :) very sexylike

The content of the song focuses on a relationship that is ugly and unnatural, where love is taken and forced, like clipping a bird's wings so it will never fly away from its keeper. It's for this reason that Yoko chose this sick, but incredibly intimate voice. It is not meant to be beautiful or attractive, and that is part of the genius of her composition. Sure, she could have picked a better singer, but then the song would be shallow, instead of hollow. One of Yoko's most wonderful songs.

@kalacs32 Lol, nevermind my comment, I was confusing darAi and darEi. Foolish of me, but have mercy, I've just learnt condicionale :).
-
@wenglokame I know you can provide me with Heaven,
but i was born free,
what a bitter love is yours, because("ché" it's the poetic short form of the word "perché") it caught in a vicelike grip
and it has no mercy of you
-
@wenglokame If your kisses were sincere,
(if they were) born form a pure feeling,
I would give everything to you, everything you want, everything but freedom,
no, I won't(don't) give it to you
-
How I wish (would) your breath on me,
your fragile body
and coming to the aid of (your)every uncertain step
and holding you tight with passion

Yeah, I believe so, but I may be wrong. :/

Yes, the song is in italian. The correct title is "Amore amAro", and not "Amore amEro", and it means "bitter love". :-)
