Not sure if its a mistake but your standards and speeds information is wrong.
USB 3.0 = 5 Gbit/s (625 MB/s)
USB2.0 = (480 Mbit/s, or 60 MB/s)
There is a a HUGE increase on USB 3.0. There is a 50gig pendrive with 8 channel memory (basically a mini ssd) and it does 270MBPS and is VERY expensive (more than a 2.0TB HDD) can you imagine the cost (and almost pointlessness) in making a pendrive that would run 1000MBPS ?!
technology progresses but a pendrive should be light and cheap.
i just got mine too. Don't bother with this one if you are going to use it to transfer smaller files back and forth (e.g. pdfs, other docs, mp3s, pictures, etc.). Really slow compared to other USB 3.0 drives, check out the Anandtech roundup. It performed badly compared to the others due to the controller used in this drive. For bigger files, you don't see the poor performance, but I don't think most people use thumb drives for bigger files.
btw having looked that ultrafast 50gb pen drive is more expensive than a 3.0TB drive!
the reason the adata is not really 'usb 3.0 fast' is because its cheap single channel memory no doubt.
