This is another great Canadian act: The Fables. This was recorded in their dining room! Just with a home vid camera. I think it's cool because it shows they can actually play...unlike many musicians these days! Their website is www.thefables.com

  • Glen Simmonds deserves to be in the Canadioan Music Hall of Fame !

  • Some of the best musicians in Newfoundland. It's a shame D'Arcy Broderick isn't playing with them now....he had that huge voice. Great bunch of guys.

  • Now that is what I call true music, bunch of people sitting around with instruments, playing and singing like no tomorrow. Even more amazing that it sounds identical to their published version on their CD. No computers there, pure talent!

    Thanks for posting !

  • they are awsome live. i saw them play in nfl :)

  • Hey there sillybutton... found it on "The Session" as "The Boys Of Ballysodare"... thanks for your help. Like you said, slightly different version but it's enough to get me going with what I already learned by ear.

  • It's actually a twisted version of The Boys Of Ballisidare (correct Spelling??)
