  • To: @crankinrankin2511 Well this isn't the only reason to why I would want to set up a VPN connection. I also host a file server that I want to have access to on the go and I want to be able to have a Remote Desktop Connection so I can disconnect the server from my monitor.

  • To: @athlon9 There's no need to set up a vpn connection. Why don't you just simply use RDP or set up a free open source VNC Server on the machine that hosts your game then using any vnc client for pc,mac, android phone or iphone/ipad you can vnc or rdp into your computer that runs the game. Mocha lite is a good free app if you want to play your fav games on your phone or iphone/ipad. Google UltraVnc Server

  • I have a Windows Server 2008 R2 setup at home. On campus I am not allowed to use their network for various things like playing video games(minecraft). Can I VPN into my server and tunnel to play video games through that? I host the minecraft server on the same server if that means anything. I appreciate any help you can give me.
