You can't really compare SX to DT. Come on people. Apart from both being progressive they have abosolutely nothing in common, musical or lyrical wise.

Why is everybody comparing symphony x to dream theater? They are both great and talented bands indeed, but it's a matter of taste who likes what better, there are many people that like them both equally, why does it have to be competition all the time? I personally like symphony x more because of their specific approach to music and virtuoso skills, but I'd never put dream theater down because of this. Grow up, people. This is intelligent music, not hip hop, all these comments are useless.
