  • Does it still work, I want to buy one, any problems

  • Yes it still works, I gone through a few sets of comsumable cutting up atleast 50 sections of 4'x8' pieces of 12gauge sheet and 1/4" plate.

One thing is the plastic shield around the torch connection started cracking up I put some electrical tape one it.

And you have to remember that these plasma cutters are made in china with little quaility control you might get a good one or you might get one that is junk.

  • I've got one that I've used just a little, had it only a few days, and it's not cutting. Is sort of sparking and skipping and shooting fire off to the side. Have made sure it doesn't have water in the line, and switched the consumables a couple of times. Any suggestions?

  • What size air compressor are you running it off of? And what is your air pressure? It sounds like you dont have enough pressure or volume, and the jet is not penatrating and just arcing along the surface.

  • Did you buy online or find yours locally? Ive seen this same welder on ebay for 400, but if its out there cheaper I would like to know.

    Thanks

  • I got it off of ebay for about $375, but check who you buy it off of some of the seller use chinese suppliers that make them in the back of a barn with the cows, and some that make them in a actual factory.

  • Does it work on Necromorphs?

  • how is that racist? chinese stuff is usually garbage and that's why they're cheap. American cutting and welding tools cost at least twice as much on average but are more quality tools. Chinese stuff like this is fine for a hobbyist though.

  • Way to support the little commie bastards fucktards! For "300 buck who cares"? Real Americans care you are a disgrace to your country!

  • Hi.

I hope you don't mind me asking here but, would the plasma cutter start cutting if you made contact with an insulated live power cable? I'm not suggesting anything here :) I am just curious.

Also, if it was a 'non contact' pilot start plasma cutter, and you cut a live power cable from a few inchs away, since plasma conducts electricity, wouldn't the current from the wire travel up the plasma and shock you?

These are just thought experiment questions, that's all :)

  • @colliecandle "Yes, mores the pity. Chinese made goods are not quality and not made to give long service. If you doubt my words take a look at the death traps made in China and sold as cars! See the crash test results and tell me if you rate Chinese goods highly afterwards"

I never claim Chinese products are high quality. All I said was many of our everyday products are either made in China or have parts/components that are either made in or processed out of China one way or another. Confused?
