Access to the Squaw Peak Trail-Uinta National Forest, UT, closes in mid November. This is one last run up there before the trail closes for the season. It was partly sunny and about 54° in the canyon, but as the elevation climbs the temperatures dropped to the high 30s and rain and hail started coming down. We got soaked in just a few minutes.
Unedited, straight from the GoPro HD Hero. I kept the waterproof door on so the sound is muffled but it kept the camera clean and dry.

  • are the truck tires better than the atv tires?

  • @roy777700 They have less rolling resistance and offer more ground clearance. Additionally, they have a higher load rating for the weight of the buggy, and look more proportional to the wheelbase length (101") and size of the buggy.

  • Very nice Video!!

  • Wow, that thing glides over the bumps! Good choice using the v4. Gear driven cams, nice torque and tough as old boots ;)

  • Very cool video! Your suspension seems to work very well. Did your engine die at the end?

  • See 1400 cc Kawasaki Ninja engine in your future ; )
