@shetan81 i'm sorry for your anguish. I myself am gay, but don't desire to female. I realize that's not the same, but I do have empathy and I hope you find peace and comfort in your life. Thanks to my loving and supportive family, I can be happily out. But I know some people are not as blessed.

This movie is the reason as to why I'm now an Atheist. There can't possibly be a God who would be okay with a world where people are treated differently just because of their sexuality.

to get this movie in its entirety, you have to all rename the movie something else because the YOUTUBE spiders look for movie titles FIRST....call it instead...UMMMMM TINA BRANDON...misspell something so the bots can't find it.

one of the best movies i have ever seen. i can't recommend it more, and i love Hilary Swank because of it. chloe sevigny is great too.

Being transgendered is NOT the same as being a lesbian. Some people really need to be educated on the difference between "dressing up like a boy" and being transgendered also. This movie is not about being a lesbian. It's about a man that loves a woman and is hated for his biological gender. It's a straight relationship. There is also a lot less tolerances for transgendered people than there is lesbians by society which is sad because some of the coolest people I've met are transgendered.
