this pack with the OP1 pouch and the beaver tail actually cut off is the best set up bag I have ever carried...The admin area is really small, I only put my ccw and wallet in there and let the OP1 handle all the admin duties... I've had it for almost 3 years and mine which is forest green is just now getting that broken in look...great review on your part sir

The straps near the waist belt are part of the attachment for the larger EDC waist belt. Not for parachuting or rappelling.

Does this pack fit a 15,4" laptop?

@scottbigboi Just got asked this same question at my blog about the hydration bladder sleeve. The dimensions on that, which is the safest place to put a laptop are 17x9.75". So yes, it'll fit a 15.4" laptop.
