I am deeply shocked by this very poor if not downright dishonest reporting by a journalist from 60 Minutes. They have always represented the highest quality of journalism in my experience. This should make all the great reporters of that group cringe at this disaster for their legacy.

I didn't realize that Leslie Stahl was such an anti-semite - thank you for showing this video. Her blatant disdain when speaking about Israel is palpable, and her obnoxious pandering to the Palestinian man was shameful. She should be censored for this unprofessional and humiliating broadcast. This was broadcast journalism at its lowest.

@6gentex I completely disagree with your comments! The media is SO BIAS against Israel it's sickening! These guys are simply drawing attention to the mal practice of journalist who are bias and report it as fact! Ignorant people feed of bias negativity where they then make false claims against israel based on their limited understanding and bias media - thinking it to be truth!

@JohnnyRock2000 Well, yes, much of religion is myth, but discarding everything is pretty stupid too. I am a religious historian (mainly Islamic, Babi and Baha'i history), and I know a great deal of what I study has a decent claim to accuracy. I approach this as a skeptic and have debunked more religious history than you may have heard of. That doesn't rule out a large residue of fact. The Bible is much reinforced by archaeological and extra-Biblical evidence. Better than the Qur'an.

@MacEoin - Most religions are myth and none are historical records. I don't care much about religions at all because of this. Jewish theological "history" is mocked simply because of what it says....adam and eve, Moses, 40 yrs of millions in the desert, death of the first born, Jonah, David and Goliath, Kingdom of Israel. That is just the start. It all builds up to a mountain of holy bullshit. A fantasy. Hooey.

I don't believe the Bible is the word of God, but it is a reasonable chronicle of the region, just as Greek and Roman histories like Tacitus and Thucidydes give us a decent account of the Greeks and Romans. One of the best points in this video is that nobody goes to Mecca or Medina, shouting that there is no evidence of Muhammad. Likewise, we have to take the historical information in the Muslim chronicles seriously. And so on. Why is Jewish history mocked?

You guys are idiots. Leslie Stahl is not even remotely close to an anti-Semite. Why is it when anyone says something that upsets the Jewish community they are labeled an anti-Semite? You guys are a dime a dozen. Suck it up, be men and accept the truth. Nobody needs any help "drawing out” negative views of Jews. Israel's actions and treatment of any non-Jews are there for the world to see. You can talk all you want, but actions speak much louder than words...they speak the truth.

Even after proof has been offered numerous times regarding the Jewish claim to 'the beautiful land' as God calls it, the MSM's leftist mind slant blinds them to the real truth, because it is inconvenient to admit they have been wrong all along. Since there is no real meaningful proof of ancient Jewish presence, Jews call up the Bible as an authentic history. Noah, the arch, Jonah, the whale and all other incredible things will soon be unearthed for Jesusland, where all Christians will be able to come and spend tourist dollars. Israel needs this as they have no real industry other than weapons and diamonds.
