Tropical storm Ida combined with a high pressure system to the north to create a large nor'easter that hung over the Outer Banks (OBX) for four days. The storm drove heavy winds, rain, and large surf to the OBX creating widespread damage and major flooding. This video is a recap of the four days in the Kill Devil Hills and Kitty Hawk area.
