At the end of a tax year you'll receive a form P60 from your employer.

The P60 confirms your final tax code for the year and confirms your earnings, tax paid, employers and employees NIC for the tax year just ended.

Keep your P60 safe as you may need it up to two years later in case you're asked to complete a tax return.
