Back in the day Comedy Central wasn't as easily available, so lots of fans had no way to access it without VHS tapes being mailed across the continent.
Now with the Shout! DVDs many episodes are available for purchase, and so torrents are not spreading the show to new viewers, but they are costing them their well-deserved revenue.

They didnt seem to think it was funny that dude was downloading their shit for free. Which is strange because they used to say "keep circulating the tapes." at the end of shows.

maybe it's different if people are downloading something that they need to sell in order to keep their new project going, vs. downloading something that's not available anymore and that they don't see any money from?
