  • I know that simply installing an Air Norton into my Les Paul won't make it sound like one of these Nash guitars and I'm fine with that, but do you think I could get more clarity and a thicker "rock" sound out of an Air Norton than I could out of my stock Burstbucker 3?

  • @HearingLossProvider Honestly, it's hard to say on our end considering all of the other variables involved in the aging process. We'd recommend comparing the manufacturers' specs and descriptions along with online reviews by folks with LPs comparable to yours!

  • Wow, I didn't know you could beat the sh!t out of a new guitar AND get paid!!!!!! I am in the wrong business.

  • @SJBikesaws Why don't you give it a whirl and let us know know how that goes ;)

  • @soundpurestudios LOL, just messin. I had a 1960's Les Paul with a spider webbed laquer finish. I hated it and I hated that I couldn't refinish it without ruining the value, but I did get it cheap because of it. Kind of funny that people actually want them to look worn out now, too bad I sold it 18 years ago.

  • @SJBikesaws Heheh... no worries! If that's all they did to get paid, we'd ALL be in the wrong business! These things are masterful rebuilds... they leave our shop as a brand new, mediocre, amateur playing instrument, and return with the feel, sound, and setup of a fine relic. It's like a time warp. There is a reason people pay $50k for originals. There's also a reason people pay Gibson $10k for "custom" reissues. These smoke the Gibson Reissues at half the price.

  • @JKryanX Guitar relics just seem to make some people really pissed off...and some people really happy. Fortunately, the happy ones just buy guitars and become even happier, while the pissed off ones just leave comments on youtube videos and get even sadder :( And yes, they do refinish them.

  • I would have really liked to listen to those guitars , but the freekin playing was so hideous , I put the volume off !

  • @po1212Po There is a fair range of them from Nash, each one is one-of-a-kind in that regard. It might be something that we can bring in special-ordered for you, or figure out how to get you one that is a bit cleaner. These are indeed on a different stratosphere over the Gibson Custom Shop Relics. If you are looking for a mind-blowing, non-relic'd paul-inspired instrument, the McInturff Carolina custom and Comins Lyrist are both remarkable. e-mail: electrics@soundpure(dot)com anytime!

  • AWESOMENESS

but the are a little to relice'd for me

and yes Gibson Custom Shop Murphy relics suck...anyone can relic better...even me...

I spent 8K on a '59 Murphy aged LP ,,,sold it about 3 months later...no wonder all of the Gibson Custom Shop relics are on Ebay haha

are all Nash LP's are that beat?

if not,I would love to buy a less-beat-to-crap Aged Les Paul

    thanks!
