Knox, Agincourt is a heritage church that was founded in 1848 (the sanctuary dates from 1872) and is located in the former village of Agincourt, Scarborough. The Congregation reflects a range of older members to young and some very new Christians from mainland China. Located at a very busy intersection and served very well by public transportation, Knox has been a leader within the community of Agincourt for many years including its involvement in the implementation of the Agincourt Community Services Association in the early 70's and more recently sponsoring the Out-of-the-Cold program in Scarborough. The Congregation meets in a "traditional" worship service each Sunday and enjoys music, singing and lively sermon topics that generate discussion.
The worship service includes a children's "Moment of Discovery" time and a time for celebrating and sharing "good news" and "prayer concerns". Bible Study sessions and Small Group gatherings also take place regularly. Parking is available off Rural Avenue to the north of the Church, adjacent to the Christian Education Centre.
