please be aware the "inquisitions" were not what popularly is displayed. In fact, the Catholic Church started the "inquisitions" and only gave out a few prayers as penance as the secular inquisitions, (nothing to do with the church) were brutal and murderous. Evidently, secular groups took all the assets of the accused. The Islamist have done this since the 6th Century event to this day! The "inquisitions" lasted about 6 to 8 months. Sorry for the truth.

@pfpnewhope The Roman Catholic Church is the same ancient Church during the time of the Apostles precisely because it is headed by the Bishop of Rome, who is the successor of St. Peter, Christ's Vicar on Earth.
