heh...why don't we have it where you serve all your sentences consecutively? I think it's dumb you serve sentences at the same time. One after the other would be the true punishment!

Ironically, if the crime were severe enough (murder, rape) it would actually overshadow the drinking from a straw. That's pretty messed up logic but I guess if the criminal is that bad, who cares what the judge drinks from? It would seem so trivial in comparison. Or if the sentence was less than a year it would work the other way and not be significant enough to be abrasive against the shake drinking. In that middle ground where the sentence is high but the crime low that it looks disrespectful.

I think I've given enough reasons why some semblance of respect and dignity should apply both to someone holding the position of a judge, and that person's execution of duties that deprive another person of their liberty, who may have done nothing more than trying to get items that were stolen from them returned to them. Thank you.
