This is just a run through of the first portion of our demonstration. When the fan and digital voice modulator is triggered, we also had a second QTI light sensor which triggered an LED light display with digital countdown which then released a robot line follower triggered by RF remote programmed using a basic stamp2. For the finale we had a third QTI light sensor that triggered pumps to pump water into a container of dry ice, then a string of red lights lit up around the smoking dry ice. The pumps ran off of a 12 volt car battery. Then we built a circuit on a bread board, using a transformer, to step the 12V DC up to 120V AC to run the lights. The problem was that we didn't get all the final bugs worked out until just before the presentation, so I was unable to get video of the entire demonstration. I wish I could have, but time limitations just did not allow me to.
