@nerblebun I agree we will NEVER see anything like Janis again-it's not possible given today's mindset. She was the most influential woman in Rock and she didn't live long enough to realize it. But I have to say Stevie Nicks came the closest ! Both are legends and, to me, were the only two that would leave you spellbound !!! Also, because her life was filled with so much pain was why she was able to give so much of herself in performance. I was fortunate they were both from my era....

It has been 40 years since anyone has heard her voice and we will never hear anything like her. man i will never hear anything so soulfull in my lifetime as fantastic as Pearl, i was totally born 10 years to late. JANIS JOPLIN LIVES!!! in my heart and my iphone :) she really was a class act and a classy lady, if she hadn't died the way she did she might have suffered an agonizing death later in life. she is missed by all who love her music.

janis was like a shooting star bright ass hell even if it was for a short time.I still lay on my bed looking at her album covers, or her cd covers. album covers are better.
