The Norwegian Army's Special Command (FSK) is a special force in the Norwegian armed forces, and is part of the Army's Jaegerkommando (FSK-HJK). The force was created in 1981 as an addition to the Norwegian SWAT team "Delta" because of the increasing risk of terrorist actions against Norwegian interests, especially oil platforms in the North Sea. The force was placed under Army jaegerkommando, and was established in 1982 with support from allies. FSK is today regarded as one of the best special forces in the world.
