I had a recording session at a studio in Springfield, MO in the early 70s and the OMDs were just finishing and leaving. It took a couple of hours to clear the smoke out.

@jcdenton7 > I have been watching these guys since 1972. They really are not 'country' rock. I have heard them refer to themselves as weed a billies. Their music is timeless yet is so early seventies. All of their music is so very joyful. It has brought me through many hard times and given me a perspective many many times. Maybe it should be called Tao-a-billy

This was the first OMD song I ever heard and it was live at a free "concert" in the basement of Gentry Hall at Mizzou in Columbia. Around 1971. The first set was accoustic with them sitting on fold-up church chairs.....great introduction to country rock for a 21year old kid.........been a great fan ever since!!! Thanks for posting.
