Headbang Hero - First Prototype

This is the first complete prototype of Headbang Hero, an interactive project by Tiago Martins, Andreas Zingerle and Ricardo Nascimento. It's a kind of tribute to the popular Guitar Hero game and headbangers all around the world.
A fully wireless motion-sensing wig is used as game controller.

The hardware is based on the Arduino platform; the software is based on the Processing environment and the Minim library. Stay tuned for more!

BTW, the wig is dubbed "Gabriella" because it's a Highscool Musical wig (it was cheap). Ironic, no?

Actually the current version ain't got Eye of The Tiger. It's got some brutal stuff like Severed Fifth. And the people at Campus Party Brasil didn't seem to mind ;)

Guitar hero has two effects on me. The first is that after a few minutes looking at the notes highway everything else I look at gets warped (I kind of like this, an optical illusion of sorts). The second is that it makes my left hand hurt if I'm not holding the controller properly.

This is better than guitar hero!!why?? because this doesn't gonna make a bunch of kidos beileve themselves the best guitar player ever because they broke marks on an stupid video game, playing guitar in real life is fucking diffcult ok?? at least you are Eddie fucking Van Halen; this looks awesome, a good way to give some amuse for headbanging, besides the obvious pleasure of listening the music, hails!.

DAM the 1 thing about this is not that good is it have to be worn over a hand! if you're wearing it over your head and headbang that is GONNA BE FREAKING AWESOME sorry for bad english by the way xD

headbang HERO lolol. I admire your effort and time by making, it IS well made and prolly wasn't easy to be done. but I gotta say man this sucks much as guitar hero does. It's so much enjoying when you take a real guitar in hands an play it, same thing with headbanging if you get my point. Though this is only my opinion AND you really did a great job. Well done (Y)
