The current jetty svn trunk is located at

If you try to "Checkout as Maven project from SCM",

but can't select "svn", you need to select "Find more SVM connectors in te m2e Marketplace" and install the "Subversive" m2e plugin.

Lies, lies, lies. Most of this doesn't work anymore, as Sonatype has decided to drop the Subversive and Subclipse connectors. That this is shown on the m2e website as "m2e in minutes" is simply false advertising.

Well done, Sonatype. As managers of m2e one would think that you could show a bit more responsibility than to drop the arguably most used SCM, simply because "we don't use it anymore".

When you right click on a JAR file and the speed menu comes up and extends beyond the view of the screen and your pointer moves out of view of the screen and you click on something, we cannot see what you are clicking on. Either adjust the tree upward inside the Project Explorer so that when you right click the speed menu doesn't run off the screen or simply be explicit and say what menu item you are clicking on for the benefit of those of us who are just now learning Eclipse and Maven.

@jasonphos hey thanks for that, meanwhile I've also figured out why maven egit SCM stuff was failing (though I wasn't able to see the error details), it was because I had egit installed, and I uninstalled it first then installing maven's egit support from marketplace or even via normal install worked (but the normal install let me know that those were incompatible having normal non-mave egit installed with trying to install maven's egit support)

@cyuczieekc Hey, I figured this out although I never went through the effort of fixing it because it ends up that we use MyEclipse, which has Maven built-in.

Anyways, the problem is that not all repository plugins (i.e. SVN, CVS, etc.") are compatible with m2eclipse. In my case, the only one I had installed was Subversion, and m2eclipse isn't compatible with Subversion (Or at least not easily. I read about some possible ways around it). Subclipse, on the other hand is compatible, so install it

@jasonphos mine is empty too, and attempting to install m2e-egit plugin fails too, I needed egit instead

still, this video is good insight since I am just starting and wanting to use maven, btw, hey Neils =) if he's reading this, I don't mean the uploader's name is Niels tho:P
