The song was written by Alice Cooper and Dick Wagner for Welcome to My Nightmare. You can find it and hear how it was meant to be. I love Donny but this was not how the song was written.

Wow, sad that someone would think a song as beautiful as this is "crude". There's nothing crude about making love to the person you spend your life with. Anyone who thinks it is has some serious issues. Donny did a wonderful job on this lovely song.

@wesparkle How is that comment in any way mean-spirited? The comment was on exactly the words that the guy sang. If you have an issue with the lyrics, bring it up with him. Waiting for someone to wake up. Scattered clothes on the floor. What the hell do you think that the guy is talking about? A peck on the cheek? Pretty crude love song, if you ask me.
