YOU CANT GET ABOVE OPTIMAL optimal is optimal meaning that this is optimal
-
Considering Rock Band does not have an easy expert mode, it's definitely not.

@MrAbomasnow yes. everyone uses it for everything. dropping ticks is common while using the glitch because if you hit a note directly after a sustain right on time, you will miss the note (at a low enough calibration)
-
@knoxra i see you posted this 2 years ago. but id still like to point out that this isnt optimal. there is only one optimal for each song. he got above upper bound... not above optimal.
-
@knoxra umm he just did prove it was possible. People have programs that map out the best paths you can use calculating the highest score possible. Using this (I use this term loosley here) exploit it's possible to get above said optimal score
-
@nickelbackhero19 nope never hit them early he's playing on beat
-
this is... what is this. The notes are disappearing earlier than even on the Wii. How do you even know what to be hitting.
-
you hit about 2009 notes a little early
-
shit
this song is pretty hard
how could you fc it
i cn't even pass it
-
luckily for me i dont care at all about solo scores im all about the full band and this isnt necessary, amazing that you can do this under that lag
-
Holy crap. Unless I tape some kind of string to my TV to indicate where the timing window is, I would NEVER be able to play like that. That's awesome!
1. should this qualify for leaderboards?
2. is this fixed for RB2+Beatles?
theonlinegamers 2 years ago
1.) Yes considering anyone can do it anytime. And considering the negative lag settings are even there.
2.) Probably not, since they planned to fix the strum limit 8+ months ago, and still didn't fix that for the Beatles (not that it matters for that game, but still...).

so basically your pushing the notes back but still strumming on time?
wudgeypudger 2 years ago
Yes, basically. You play to the audio of the song. Still hard as hell to do though, especially while squeezing.
