  • Fantastic review. Fresh presentation. Open minded approach (vs 90% of aging petrolheads who all have the same views), well written, insightful (should work for an auto company!) and good video editing. Canadiandriver or GlobeAuto could learn a thing or two from you guys.

Where can you get better? You tend to give scant attention to interiors. And to generate more viewership, you could probably be more edgy/sarcastic (the baby seal comment a gem)

  • @skyhawkpilot172 Well, except for the half-billion or so that was loaned to Tesla from the Department of Energy. Not so much of a bailout; more of a subsidy. But, supposedly the loans have to be paid back sometime with interest, so there's something there. Also, as an electric vehicle, a Tesla will net you all the same big tax breaks that a Leaf or Volt will, so the cost of ownership is still skewed dramatically from what it "ought" to be.

  • I would be what environmentalist whack-Os would call a petrohead. I don't subscribe to the man-made global warming hoax, but I've been a fan of Tesla since I heard of them. They're doing this all by themselves, no government bailouts. Far more range and better performance than the Volt and cheaper. Keep in mind when buying the Volt, the price on the lot is not not even close to what the car costs to produce.

  • @R1skArb Bang on mate. Excellent comment.

  • @XXXCompAssesXXX The electric motor isn't completely silent, it sort of "whines". You also get the sound from the wind rushing over the car and the wheels on the ground.

  • So if the car is electric, than it has no noise, so is the engine noise generated?

  • electricity is most certainly not the future

  • wow! the marilyn monroe buildings are still being built in this video! my uncle lives there now !! :D

  • Amazing review!

  • Can't believe he admit to finding people to race him on a youtube video. haha, good man.
