  • What year did that song first come out? Thanks for any help!

  • @surfside48

Ladies of the Canyon album 1970

  • Mr. Bluesboy - Good selection. You have an interesting mix of stuff. But Joni is always my favorite. She doesn't seem to fit into your eclectic mix. What's your take?

  • I Love all music. I got to see Joni back in 1977 or so at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles. I've only been here at youtube for 4 months. Give me some time and I'll have a wider range of music posted that I Love.

    I'm glad you like it.

  • @1Bluesboy1 You've already posted a slice of one of the best. sweet Joni

  • @californiacamera although i agree with you, i think you sell her short.

  • @1Bluesboy1 Don't forget the guitar of Robbin Ford in this release. Not part of Tom Scott and the LA express, just for the tour. Amazing.

  • 2 people shouldn't have the right to vote!

  • Love this version! Brings a lot more mood and passion. Great impact.

  • Superb live album. Superb song.

  • They don't record percussion like this anymore. Love this song live.

  • 01:33 sounds like an electric guitar, wow..

  • its hard to imagine that anybody ever could sing more beautifully than Joni

  • Joni Mitchell will always be among the top tier of songwriters in the 70s and forward.

Her albums For The Roses, then Blue, then Court 'n' Spark, are about the best that came out in that period.

Joni set the standard for the way women could express themselves during this period. Just about every woman writing today should pay attention to what she did.
