Album: Tin Tin (1970)

A great song off a great album - their self-titled debut, produced by Maurice Gibb himself.

These guys deserved to have been a lot more popular. I'm guessing it was either the fruity name or the fruity album cover that did them in.

  • If you have them, please post some more Tin Tin tunes (Only Ladies Play Croquet, Family Tree, In the Eyes of a Deamer, etc.). Never understood myself why they weren't bigger.

  • this song really 'moved me'! i can't understand why they were bigger either. . . harmonies and guitar work - shades of tony hicks and the hollies! thnx ~ kc

  • It's now the year 2010 and I like them even more than before.

  • This song grew on me and so did "She Said Ride." I can't wait to get my hands on this CD

  • there are so many great songs out there, thank you youtube for allowing everyone to put brilliant rare music on here, come on everyone help me build that machine

  • i love all their songs, but this is my fave, followed by family tree, then the rest on the two albums, tin tin & astral taxi. great stuff, yeah why wern't they bigger? i wasn't born when the albums were made, but love them, when i tell my freinds what music i'm listening to, nobody has heard of them, i think that sad. thanks for posting!!!

  • Yes, haunting indeed! It just puts me in an unusual mood...I don't know anything about them, except Toast and Marmalade stuck with me for years, and I finally found a copy...Gotta Love the internet. But, they were in good with theBros. Gibb, so who knows what happened? Another group that shoulda been big was The Buoys, but they made their short but unforgettable mark, and reformed as Dakota. I know a group that has received 3 Grammy noms. but hasn't won. That's the way it goes. Thanks!

  • I think the word you were looking for was 'haunting' Anita . They deservered so much more of a following Can only think it must have been bad management.?

  • Wow, their stuff is so eerie somehow, don't know how to describe that, but it's why I love their sound! Thanks for posting.
