@hoover321f - Yeah it was. I turned 10 on July 8th in 1976. It was a bittersweet time for me sime my parents separated and were going through a divorce at that time. I almost flunked 3rd grade until my mother and my teacher helped me. The BiCentennial meant a lot to me, not only as an American, but as something to take away from the pain I was feeling at that time so I can relax, chill and enjoy life.
