@foulingyourprop They dont give shit to Molokai and they make so much money showing our beautiful island! Its a shame that they dont give a shit and fly all week long, then fly all weekend long too. Moloka'i people ready for shoot choppahs down!! We have a petition going around to shut down all operations. I think the people on the mainland who take these tours have no clue what it does to the people of Moloka'i. Do some research before you come here.
We did the hike with Brandon and Sweetheart last week and it was an incredible experience. Pops is keeping the traditions alive in the valley and the world is better off for it. The mosquitos weren't as bad s we had anticipated and the swim at the bottom of the falls were refreshing! The history related to our group during the tour was incredibly informative and helped give everyone a sense of the history and mojo of this beautiful valley!! Thank you Pops, Brandon, and Sweetheart!!
Save you money---Less that $70 for the round trip ferry from Lahina to Molokai--A days Car Rental on Molokai is another $60 and the Guided Hike by native Hawaiians that own the valley is about $70 per person--those freaken helicopters suck it's much better from the ground!!!!!
Halawa is a beautiful place, but as you can see, Blue Hawaiian Helicopters take crappy quality video. After paying big bucks for the video from my flight, I threw mine away. A shame, it would be nice to have a decent video of the more than $400 flight. Save your money, though.
We were recently close to the falls but we didn't hike in as we had our 4 year old with us. We will do the hike when he's older. It's so beautiful there and the drive over is spectacular.
just stay out.

Blue Hawaiian breaks the law by violating FAA regulations and disrupting the lives of peaceful molokai residents.
