  • What happened to the welding...? Or... Is welder series the name of thekit.../

  • @AeroSport103 Correct, Welder Series is our business name. We make a 'series' of hot rod rod chassis parts for 'welders'. (We also sell them fully welded). Thanks for asking.

  • It's just tig welded... the ends are beveled for penetration. It's not super-structural.

    Thanks for the comments!

  • @welderseries Thanks for straightening me out! I mistook the name as a 'series about welding' At any rate you have a great product line idea. It makes the parts very easy to ship and half the fun of projecting building is welding...

  • @dbennett4 Oh snap! wait a minute! idk about that stuff so..... im keeping my mouth shut now.....

  • @J1RM And leave a brittle deposit. 6010 is generally a bad idea for structural unless it is part of a multipass weld that includes low-hydrogen passes over it (F3-F4 for example)

  • @dbennett4 , why would he stick weld that? If anything he should use gmaw to tack it the gnaw to weld it. Id recommend 6010 for smaw. Deep penetration!

  • Did you bevel the ends of the pieces? What process did you use to weld them, SMAW with 7018?

  • notch?
