hes speaking about the "epiphany " which the zen buddhists call KENSHO .
Its explained as a temporary glimpse into the true essence or nature of reality , and union of opposites , which leads to a profound sense of PEACE . Its permanent state is called NIRVANA / enlightenment / paradise or DAI KENSHO in japanese which means "great awakening"
